4th November 2015 GOCO Spa Venice at JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa has been awarded with both ‘Best for the Wow Factor’ and ‘Best for Beauty and Anti-Ageing’ in the Spafinder 2015 Wellness Travel Awards. The prestigious awards programme honours hotels, resorts, destination spas and retreats that provide the best wellness experiences worldwide.
Category awards are given to the top 10 spas, hotels/resorts and retreats that offer exceptional wellness experiences in each of the 20 categories. GOCO Spa Venice’s services were recognised alongside those of SHA Wellness Clinic, Alicante, Spain and The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas and ESPA Life at Corinthia London.
“We are absolutely thrilled with these award wins and delighted our services have been recognized by such a prestigious awarding body” says Giorgia Bogoni, Spa Director of GOCO Spa Venice. “To win these two great awards just a few months after we opened is a real honour. It is great to see the hard-work we put into offering clients high-end spa experiences being recognised.”
GOCO Spa at JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa is the largest in Venice and is beautifully set on the resort’s 40 acre private island, Isola delle Rose. The spa is managed by Bangkok-based GOCO Hospitality, a world-leading wellness and hospitality company. Its spas are designed to inspire and guide guests towards a healthier lifestyle through the promotion of self-discovery.
Housed in an elegant building dating from the early 20th century, the GOCO Spa opens directly onto the water and has six individual treatment rooms with a view of the lagoon and two advanced beauty rooms alongside a luxury treatment suite, offering a range of exclusive treatments. Yoga lessons, meditation and holistic exercises are available in the hotel gardens and on the wooden parterre. A Finish sauna, a bio sauna, a traditional hammam and large heated indoor vitality pool that extends outdoors through a grand sequence of sliding glass walls complete the spa experience.
