World's Leading Honeymoon Resort 2017 / World Travel Awards In recognition of JW Marriott’s exceptional honeymoon offering, the private-island resort has been voted the World’s Leading Honeymoon Resort by travel and tourism professionals and travel consumers worldwide. Beating 15 of the world’s leading hotels in exotic destinations from Thailand to Mauritius, the judges settled on JW Marriott Venice – the second year in a row the hotel has won this auspicious title.
GOCO Spa Venice / Top Resort Spa in Italy / The World Spa Awards Following voting by leading spa professionals and spa consumers from around the world, GOCO Spa Venice at JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa has been officially awarded top honours at the World Spa Awards 2017, announced at its gala ceremony in December. This was the second consecutive year that GOCO Spa Venice has been awarded Italy’s Best Resort Spa. Rebecca Cohen, Managing Director of the World Spa Awards called the win "truly deserved” and praised GOCO Spa Venice’s “commitment to excellence and determination to become the undisputed market leader”.
Dopolavoro / Contemporary Restaurant of the Year 2018 / Luxury Travel Guide Beating an unprecedented number of entries, JW Marriott Venice’s Michelin-starred Dopolavoro has been awarded the accolade of Contemporary Restaurant of the Year 2018. Winners are subject to rigorous assessment criteria, carried out by experienced in-house professionals as well as several celebrity guest judges, who recognised the exquisite flavours concocted by Chef Federico Belluco. The Dopolavoro Dining Room was awarded its first Michelin star in 2015, after only 6 months from opening.
