Is there a shuttle service from Piazza San Marco to the hotel?

Yes, we are happy to offer our guests a complimentary shuttle service on a regular basis.

Please note that the complimentary shuttle boats that we offer are on a first come first serve basis. In the event that you are running on a tight schedule, we strongly recommend arriving considerably ahead of the scheduled departure time from either the Resort or San Marco docks. This is to ensure that you secure your seats in order to avoid having to wait for the next available boat.

Is there Wi-Fi service in the resort?

We want to help you stay connected while at the resort, giving you the opportunity to share all your wonderful photos, videos and memories with your friends and family.

We offer complimentary Wi-Fi 2Mb upload / download speed in public areas. In the guest rooms you can enjoy:

  • High Speed Internet – 2Mb upload / download speed at the price € 15 for 24 hours
  • Enhanced Internet – 10 Mb upload / download speed at the price € 25 for 24 hours

Is breakfast included in my room reservation? What are my options?

JW Marriott Venice Resort and Spa offers the opportunity to book accommodation only or accommodation with breakfast included. Check your reservation to assess if breakfast is included during your stay. If breakfast is already part of your stay package, your will enjoy our fantastic buffet breakfast at Cucina restaurant from 7.00 am to 11.00 am.

If you opted for a room only reservation, we provide the following options for the first meal of the day for our guests:

  • Cucina Restaurant: choose between a-la-carte menu or kick off the day with an all-in option with our outstanding buffet. Buffet price is Euro 28 per person per day.
  • Room Service breakfast menu: spoil yourself on holiday and get your breakfast delivered straight to your room at the time that you prefer. Room service menu is available in every guest room.
  • Dispensa, our gastronomy of local inspiration has a great variety of grab-and-go pastries, drinks and obviously a tasty authentic Italian espresso.
What would you recommend for celebrating a special occasion?

We encourage you to tell us if you are visiting Venice to celebrate a special occasion – whether that be your honeymoon, anniversary, birthday or wedding proposal. We are always happy to assist you in surprising your partner and organizing something special, perfectly arranged to the last detail.  We can deliver personalized birthday cakes, arrange a Chic-nic experience in our century-old park, reserve one of our private terraces overviewing the Lagoon for a private candle light dinner… and much more. Is there a GYM in the resort?

Yes, our GYM is open 24 hours a day and has everything that is needed for the perfect workout.

Is there a SPA in the resort?

Yes, at our GOCO Spa Venice, you will enjoy wellness, spa and beauty services with panoramic views of the world’s most dramatic city.

Recommended in the Conde Nast Traveller Spa Guide 2016, it is the largest spa in Venice and features indoor and outdoor pools with amazing views of the Venice skyline, along with a sauna, bio-sauna, hammam, spa suite for couples massages, yoga gardens and a wide range of treatments by Amala and !QMS.

To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend making reservations ahead of time as our SPA is often fully booked well in advance.

Is your island wheelchair accessible?

Most certainly yes! Our shuttle boat is equipped with all the necessary equipment for travelling with a wheelchair and all the buildings on the island have ramps. You can also reserve one of our accessible rooms or suites.

What electrical plug / outlet is used in Italy?

Italian sockets are "Type L" Italian CEI 23-16/VII with three pins and 220 Volt. But don’t worry if you forget to bring an adaptor, we will be more than happy to supply you with one. We offer universal adaptors for usage inside the hotel on a complimentary basis and should you wish to keep it with you, an additional charge will apply.

Do I need to order a taxi from the hotel in advance?

The average waiting time for the taxi to arrive is 30 minutes. In the event that you are running on a tight schedule, we strongly recommend booking the taxi in advance. Our concierge team will be happy to assist you at any time.

Do you exchange foreign currency at the resort?

We do not exchange foreign currency at the resort; however we have an ATM located in the lobby so you can withdraw Euros at any time.
